Dr. John Johnston started his practice in Norwell in 1988 and added the second office in Hull in 2003. He has been providing skilled patient care to the citizens of the South Shore for over 32 years. The full-time emphasis now is on our growing Hull facility.
Our mission is to educate and deliver the highest quality, personalized care to the surrounding communities.
John has been a physical therapist for over 37 years, graduating cum laude from the University of Connecticut with an undergraduate physical therapy degree followed by his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the Arizona School of the Health Sciences.
He is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and has had prior certification as an orthopedic specialist and strength and conditioning specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
A veteran of 5 marathons and junior college hockey, John has also cycled in the Pan-Mass Challenge, MS 150, and across Iowa with RAGBRAI.
The staff therapists at Hull Physical Therapy have all completed educational requirements and are fully licensed by the state of Massachusetts.
Each clinician is licensed and has over 20 years of providing clinical exercise, manual therapy, and functional training.
